Cookie policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that a website stores in the browser. There are similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage. This policy explains which of them this website uses, in accordance with article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and the guidance of the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
2. Findings for this website
The public pages of this website do not set cookies. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and no social media buttons that load automatically. The only things stored in your browser are the choice you make in the cookie notice (“Accept all” or “Reject all”) and, if you change the language with the selector, that language. The only difference between the two options is that, if you accept, you can watch on the website the YouTube videos that allow it.
- Fonts and animation libraries: loaded from the website’s own server, without contacting third parties.
- Videos: nothing from YouTube is loaded when you open the website, and no video plays by itself. Some videos are a link that opens YouTube on its own website. Those that can be watched on the website only load YouTube (in its privacy-enhanced mode, youtube-nocookie.com) if you have accepted cookies and press play; YouTube (Google) may then store its own cookies and data in your browser, under its cookie policy. If you reject them, you can still watch them on YouTube.
- WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok: plain links. Clicking them opens the corresponding service, which applies its own cookie policy.
- Language: the website is shown in Spanish or English according to your browser’s language. If you change it with the 🇪🇸 Español | 🇬🇧 English selector, your choice is remembered for future visits.
3. Cookies and storage used
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ka_lang | Local storage, first party | Remembers the language you choose with the language selector | Until you change the language again or clear your browser data |
| ka_cookies | Local storage, first party | Remembers your choice in the cookie notice so it is not shown again | 12 months or until you clear your browser data |
| YouTube cookies and storage (e.g. VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, YSC, yt-remote-*) | Third party (Google), optional | Playing the video on the website, remembering player preferences and measuring its use. Only if you accept cookies and press play | Set by Google: from the session up to about 6 months |
| PHPSESSID | First-party cookie | Keeps the session of the private review-moderation area (only the website owner receives it) | Until logout or the browser is closed |
The first-party ones are technical or preferences you have requested, and are exempt from consent, as they are needed to remember your choices and for the service requested. YouTube’s are optional and only used with your consent.
Changing your choice: click “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page to reopen the notice.
4. How to delete or block cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all allow this in their privacy sections.
5. Changes
If any other service using non-technical cookies (for example analytics) is added in the future, your consent will be requested before it is activated and this policy will be updated.
